Русские аббревиатуры тем более никто не поймет.

Кстати, похоже, игру делает какая-то восточноевропейская компания, возможно, венгры или поляки. Грамматика в английских текстах, мягко скажем, хромает... Так что в терминах тоже могут быть косяки. Час от часу не легче...

Осталось последнее: перевести описания этих самых тактик и схем. Признаюсь, я в растерянности. Жаргонизмы, помноженные на сленг и наплевательское отношение к грамматике, дают то, что я называю virtually untranslatable crap. Причем есть сильные подозрения, что разрабы эти описания еще и стащили откуда-то.

Пожалуйста, подскажите, что могут значить следующие выражения (полные тексты описаний приведены в конце поста):

drive outside - обходить по кругу?

flash high - ?

to set a screen - открыться для подачи?

spot up - занять позицию?

drive hard off the screen - ?

high post - я так понял, это мачта, на которой щит с корзиной висит. Какое у него официаьное название? Или имеется в виду область под щитом?

pull up for a jumper - ?

cut around - ?

wings - фланги?

to be in-bounded below the foul line extended - ?

spicing - ?

In this play, the scoring point guard, has the ball and is looking to make something happen. As PG (1) drives outside, big man F (13) flashes high and sets a screen for PG. As the screen is set, F (32) spots up in the corner, anticipating a shot. Weak side (D3) sags towards the middle line, yet within the passing lane.

советую вам это поспрашивать на форумах http://www.basketball.ru и http://www.nba.ru (местным модерам не считать за рекламу)

там много русских сейчас проживающих в штатах и активно интересующихся баскетболом

и с большим так сказать стажем

я думаю они вам помогут люди вполне доброжелательные и знающие

перевод будет корректным

Текста сейчас нет, но сцену помню. Ребята собираются после игры в баскетбол, и один парень говорит про другого, что он picked парня из противоположной команды pocket. Благодаря ему они выиграли в последний момент. Может обвел или что-то похожее. Не могу понять.
